The vast middle bights of Andros Island in the Bahamas hold record shattering bonefish. You can expect to find dependable numbers of trophy sized fish. Andros Island Bonefish Club is located at Cargill Creek on the East side of Andros Island near the legendary north and middle bights of andros.

A short flight from Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, or Nassau puts you in Fresh Creek. You will then be transferred to the lodge by taxi. The ride along the coast takes approximately 25 minutes.

The lodge is on the threshold of some of the most pristine and undisturbed bonefish flats in all of the Bahamas. Although Andros is the largest of the Bahamian Islands it is the least inhabited. There are good hard-bottomed wading flats, starting directly in front of the lodge and along the east side of the island which is home to the great barrier reef of Andros, the worlds third largest coral reef. The hard bottom flats are formed by the breakup of the coral formations.

The Fishing:
ready to go
The three middle bights and west side of Andros contain hundreds of square miles of productive bonefish territory, a labyrinth of creeks, bays, and mangrove studded flats that penetrate Andros Island. The area is perfect for bonefish and it is not uncommon to see vast schools of tailing fish. You may see an occasional tarpon or permit. You will fish from 16-foot Dolphin skiffs complete with poling platforms and 40-HP engines. You may never see another boat during your day of fishing.

Accommodations are in roomy air-conditioned double cabins with two queen-size beds. Meals are taken in the main lodge overlooking the water. Meals are well-prepared and fresh seafood is a specialty. The staff can accommodate special meal requests.
