Bahama Lodges Preparing for the Fall Bonefish Season!!!

A few of our favorite Bahamian lodges including Abaco Lodge, Bair’s Lodge, and Mars Bay have closed for the summer. In the Bahamas during the month of August & September many of the fishing guides harvest spiny lobster. This time is a perfect time for the lodge staff to prepare for the next group of anglers just waiting their turn to get in on the action. Here is a little bit of information about a few lodges, to help you choose where you would like to visit next… Abaco Lodge is situated on a picturesque site overlooking the “Marls of Abaco”.  The Marls have long been known by well-traveled bone fisherman as one of the most unique and productive fisheries in the Bahamas. The boat dock is less than twenty-five steps from the main lodge.
