Casa Blanca Lodge, Playa Blanca Lodge and Casa Redonda Suites are three first class lodges located on the Ascension Bay. All the rooms are large and air-conditioned. There is an abundance of staff. The food is an excellent combination of Mexican, Mayan, and American dishes. The service is great. And the water is very drinkable and purified as it comes from a reverse osmosis system. Pesca Maya Lodge is another great spot for Ascension Bay fishing. They have 10 rooms in three buildings, all with A/C and private bathrooms. Meals at the lodge are home-style. There are no set transfer days for this lodge, so you can choose your dates according to your own schedule. You will fish primarily in Ascension Bay which we consider the permit capital of the word. On those days when it is too windy to venture out into the Bay, you can fish “the Rio” located directly behind the barrier Island where the lodge is located or you can head north to Boca Palia and the Capechen lagoons. The locally made boats provide plenty of room for Ascension Bay fishing.
