By | September 27th, 2011|Fishing Tips, Travel|

A few of our favorite Bahamian lodges including Abaco Lodge, Bair’s Lodge, and Mars Bay have closed for the summer. In the Bahamas during the month of August & September many of the fishing guides harvest spiny lobster. This time is a perfect time for the lodge staff to prepare for the next group of anglers just waiting their turn to get in on the action. Each angler has their own private single-occupancy room that is outfitted with a Queen Anne style bed with a comfortable mattress to get a good night’s sleep.  BUT before you retire for the night, you may want enjoy a nice drink or two at the fully stocked bar.
